Bburago has a strong heritage in die cast models, covering an array of subjects across a variety of scales from 1/43 to 1/18.
More recently, they have developed a range of mass market toy lines under both the Bburago brand, and a newly-developed sub-brand Ferrari Race & Play.
The Ferrari range covers die cast cars, play-sets and radio control, and will be a key focus in 2011.
Drew Sandham, sales director at Amerang, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Amerang to rejuvenate a well-known brand, and take it to new heights.
"Bburago is already known across the UK, Europe and beyond as a key player in diecast models, and the Ferrari range brings new opportunities to develop the brand further and bring Bburago to a much wider audience. We’re really excited to be working with Bburago, and look forward to previewing the range to customers in the coming weeks.”
Amerang will be showing the Bburago range on their stands at Toy Fair (London), Spring Fair, Nuremberg (on the Bburago stand) and the Model & Hobby Show (Coventry).
The acquisition of the agency is part of Amerang’s ongoing strategy to broaden its range to encompass mass market products to complement its existing range of model and hobby products.
Amerang represents over twenty companies across the die cast, radio control, construction kits and sci-fi and movie-related collectables categories.
