A board game titled Alien Run: Race for Cash has hit Kickstarter in a bid to help it move into production.
The game, created by Brooke Klinker-Birdsong, sees players orbit space and travel to galaxies while experiencing wormholes that can push players forward and pull them back.
The goal of the game is to have the most money, or Orbs, by the time a player reaches the end.
“As a family, we enjoy our weekly family time together by playing board games," said Brooke Klinker-Birdsong, creator of Alien Run.
"Since we’re such huge board game players, I thought how fun it would be to come up with our own.
"I designed the game after hearing my children explain the likes and dislikes of other board games, and I knew that we could come up with something really fun.
"Honestly, this game has it all - excitement, surprise, mystery, twists and turns,”
Supporters of the game will recieve a range of exclusive perks, including an Alien Run Historian limited edition, an autographed edition, and if someone donates $2500, they even get dinner with Klinker-Birdsong.
With 23 days to go, the project has raised $875 of a $20,000 goal.
The campaign ends on November 1st.
