Advanstar launches Licensing Academy

Brand Licensing Europe is adding a ten session seminar strand called The Licensing Academy to this October's event.

Over the two days, the Academy will cover the latest topics affecting the licensing industry, with retailers and industry experts sharing their knowledge, hints, tips, case studies and practical guidance with delegates.

The high level sessions will cover a wide range of topics: from the fundamentals of understanding how pre-schoolers interact with licensed product and getting the retail environment right when selling to kids, tweens and parents through to new media trends, brand building and brand protection, pricing strategies, royalties, ethical packaging and securing shelf space at retail.

"The Licensing Academy is the most comprehensive programme of seminars and workshops we have ever offered visitors to Brand Licensing Europe," said event director Jessica Blue. Big names in for Brand Licensing Europe show

Brand Licensing Europe organiser Advanstar is reporting a 40 per cent increase in the number of exhibitors so far signed up, with 4Kids Entertainment, Disney Consumer Products, Chapman Entertainment, Entertainment Rights and Sony Pictures Entertainment among the 32 companies to confirm attendance since February 1st.
