Advanstar hails 'best ever' Brand Licensing

With attendance seven per cent up, this year's Brand Licensing Europe is being hailed as the biggest ever.

Initial figures reveal a seven per cent increase in attendance at Brand Licensing Europe, held at London’s Olympia on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

Advanstar also secured a 30 per cent increase in European visitors reflective of the event’s re-brand in 2007 to Brand Licensing Europe, and the organiser’s increased marketing and PR activity designed to make the event more representative of the European licensing market.

A total of 189 exhibitors were on the show floor this year, including Chorion, Disney Consumer Products, Global Brands Group, HIT Entertainment, LEGO Group, Marvel Entertainment, Sony Pictures Entertainment and The Licensing Company. A record 87 exhibitors – a total of 56 per cent - had already rebooked for Brand Licensing Europe 2008 by the close of the show.



Big names in for Brand Licensing Europe show

Brand Licensing Europe organiser Advanstar is reporting a 40 per cent increase in the number of exhibitors so far signed up, with 4Kids Entertainment, Disney Consumer Products, Chapman Entertainment, Entertainment Rights and Sony Pictures Entertainment among the 32 companies to confirm attendance since February 1st.


Support grows for Brand Licensing Europe

Almost 100 companies, including many first time exhibitors, have already signed up for this year's Brand Licensing Europe show - an increase of 43 per cent on this time last year according to organisers Advanstar.

7,244 retailers, licensees and sales promotion professionals from 69 countries attended the 2013 show, making it the biggest and most successful in its 15 year history.
