A Girl For All Time scoops DOLLS Magazine's Industry Choice Award

A Girl for All Time has picked up DOLLS Magazine's Industry Choice Award for its Lydia, Your Georgian Girl doll.

The win was announced at the International Doll Show in Asheville, North Carolina and the awards are voted on by a panel of experts and artists in the international doll sector.

The winners of the Industry Choice Award then go onto a public vote for Playdoll of the Year.

"It's so exciting to see the range grow and continue to capture the public's interest," said brand owner Frances Cain.

"This award is especially important to us as it highlights the brand's playability and collectibility at the same time. We are hard at work on our next range which comes out in September 2015 - Sam, Your 1960s Girl - as well as an entirely new line for the brand for 2016.

"It has been quite a bit of work the past three and a half years, but incredibly rewarding as well. We are looking forward to the next chapter in the business. '

Lydia, Your Georgian Girl is the fourth character in the series of dolls and books which follow the first born girls of the fictional Marchmont family's through 500 years of adventure and intrigue.

The brand has already won Playdoll of the Year 2014 in addition two other Industry Choice Awards, four Oppenheim Platinum Awards, Best Doll, and a cache of other awards as well.
