Novelty gift firm 50 Fifty has revealed its Christmas line-up of toys and gifts.

For this year, the company has split its products into key brands - Wanted Gifts, Mint Toys, Zap and Space Invaders (under licence from Taito).

Retro Space Invaders will be a major focus for 50 Fifty, while it is also introducing some cuddly characters called Chitter Chatters to its portfolio.

"This year we've managed to secure the licence for Space Invaders, which was a phenomenal hit in the Seventies," said Lee Shawyer, sales director at 50 Fifty. "We know this collection is going to be selling out quickly and will appeal to young and old.

"The new Zap collection has been developed in-house and is all about making people laugh; from daft disguises to silly straws, they are perfect stocking fillers.

"Then our core collection of soft toys has expanded this year following the success of Annoying Monsters and Giggle Buddies in 2011. So, for 2012 we are adding Chitter Chatters and Tickle Buddies to the line-up - these animals always prove a massive hit with kids."
