50 Fifty increases indie support

Hires Kids International Marketing to handle sales to the UK independent trade.

Kids International's eight agents throughout the UK will sell the Annoying Monsters line and others.

Lee Shawyer, 50 Fifty's sales director, commented: "We have got some great coverage without lines, such as Annoying Monsters, but we have not been giving independent retailers the service they need.

"We have teams in place with Toymaster, products in stock and now a very experiences sales team on the road."



Summer sales increase

UK Retail sales rose 1.8 per cent in value on a like-for-like basis in July 2009 and up 2.6 per cent on a total basis according to the British Retail Consortium.
