Nick Costa (pictured centre) was crowned Perudo Champion following hours of dice-based battle at the 23rd Perudo Championship.
TV presenter Konnie Huq hosted the event at The Groucho Club in Soho.
Perudo – a version of liars dice from Paul Lamond Games – can be played by up to six players but Costa, 26, a computer Science Student from Essex, has only ever played the game with one other person.
Perudo requires an ability to deceive while also being able to detect your opponent’s deception.
Richard Wells, Sales Director, Paul Lamond Games said: "The Perudo Championship is now in its 23rd year and last night's event was true to its legendary form.
"The battle is always tough and there was much hilarity during the evening with bluff and counterbluff taking place as standard. We are delighted that Nick won the Championship with his liar dice skills, cheating and bluffing, and he certainly deserves the much sought after title of 'Perudo Champion'."
Perudo retails at around £17.95.
