TOMY International has been named the global master toy partner for Entertainment One’s new launch pre-school property, Ricky Zoom.

Already, a slate of broadcast partners has been lined up for the new animated series, as eOne continues to strengthen its pre-school offering with this new launch. Ricky Zoom will be showcased at this year’s Brand Licensing Europe.

Developed by the team behind PJ Masks, this new series is a CGI action comedy adventure that follows the adventures of Ricky, a little red motorbike with a zest for speed. The show centres around friendship, family and learning to stand on your own two ‘wheels’.

Ricky is joined by a cast of young bikes, Scootio, Loop and DJ who live in Wheelford, a town made for bikes.

The series debuted at Annecy International Animation Film Festival earlier this year and broadcasters are already lining up to air the show across multiple territories with Gulli in France, RAI in Italy, Discovery Kids in Latin America already on board.

The first series of Ricky Zoom is scheduled to premier from spring/summer 2019. Building on its broadcast platform, eOne is now assembling the consumer products programme and has recently named TOMY International its global master toy partner.

Products are expected to launch from A?W 2019.
