Alpha Group is taking its hit property Super Wings into the construction toy category thanks to a new partnership with the toy firm, Revell.

In a deal facilitated by m4e AG, Revell is creating a raft of construction toys for an international launch with planned products including the main characters from the popular Super Wings series.

Both Jett and Donnie construction kits will launch this autumn across Europe, the UK and the MENA region as well as South Africa, Russia, Israel and Turkey.

Antoine Erligmann, vice president TV and licensing, Alpha Group, said: "We are delighted to be working with Revell as their products are known for their high play value, creativity and innovation. We are confident that the new Super Wings products will delight fans internationally."

Andreas Bittlinger, director of marketing at Revell GmBH, added: "Super Wings is an action-packed pre-school series with lovingly designed characters which fit perfectly in to our Junior Kit product line.

"We are excited to translate the main characters into constructional toys. Particularly important to us was that our products allow a transformation from aircraft to robot - just like the kids know from the TV series."

Super Wings is an action pre-school series about a jet plane named Jett who travels the world delivering packages to children.
