Lab-equipment manufacturer, Radleys is offering kids the chance to win £150 of LEGO vouchers, by building their own crazy science lab.

As part of its campaign to encourage kids to get into science and STEM related subjects, the firm is challenging kids (and adults) to build their craziest science labs, complete with mad scientists and experiments.

“Encouraging kids to become interested in science is so important for the future of STEM professions,” said Mark Radley, MD of Radleys.

“We chose LEGO because it is fun, creative and gives children the freedom to explore their imagination – to be a great scientist, imagination is key.”

All entries must be made entirely out of LEGO, but can be as big or as small as you want. The competition is open to two age levels: Level 1 for kids and tends aged six to 16, and Level 2 open to anyone aged 16 and upwards.

Once a LEGO laboratory is built, entrants can submit photos of their construction to competition@radleys.co.uk with the subject line Radleys LEGO Competition.

The competition closes on September 30th and winners in each category will be announced on October 9th, 2015.
