Butler has joined the Rubie’s team after a five-year sting at Abscissa. The firm says her knowledge of the UK costume market is 'unprecedented and will be a great asset to the Rubie’s team'.
Butler has experience in product line selection, forecasting, product development and Far East manufacturing. She was also integral to the success of Abscissa’s online store, with a background in marketing including promotions, viral campaigns and advertising.
At Rubie's, the new recruit will take on the management of licensed and generic product development, working with the dedicated European design team and driving consumer and trade led marketing.
Butler said: "I’m really excited to be joining the world’s leading costume manufacturer, Rubie’s. I’m looking forward to working on the development of Rubie’s licensed lines as well as helping to expand their generic portfolio."
David Wootliff, Rubie’s head of marketing, commented: "We have just reported our 13th year of consecutive growth, which in the current economic climate, is quite an achievement.
"Bringing Beatrice onboard is one of many steps we are taking to ensure our growth continues. We are all thrilled and are looking forward to seeing what Beatrice brings to the team."
