Rainbow Designs has appointed Kids International Marketing to handle its international sales.

The partnership has been formed at a ‘key stage in the company’s global growth’ that sees Rainbow take its portfolio of classic licenses such as Peter Rabbit, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Shaun the Sheep and more to the international market.

Selected Rainbow lines will be shown by Kids International Marketing to the global market place this week at the Distoy show in London.

The lines will also be displayed at the firm’s new showroom in Hong Kong.

“The appointment of Kids International Media is a key strategic development for our business,” said Anthony Temple, managing director of Rainbow Designs.

“Our international sales have been organically growing over the past two years and the alliance with KIM now provides us with a professional and experienced team to focus and manage our expansion into international markets.”

Initially, Kids International Marketing will be concentrating on Rainbow’s Shaun the Sheep collection and the international roll out behind The Shaun the Sheep Movie as well as Wallace and Gromit and Morph.

Furthermore, the firm will also be presenting its newly acquired Air Puppy brand for the first time.

“We are looking forward to working with KIM and we have great expectations,” concluded Temple.
