In its 2011 ‘UK’s Favourite Tourist Attractions’ survey, Paultons Park consistently met and exceeded customer expectations with a 77 per cent customer score, beating attractions such as Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Legoland, Madame Tussauds, the London Eye and Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
94 per cent of those surveyed said Paultons Park exactly or mostly met their expectations and it’s especially popular with families taking small children – even more so, now that Peppa Pig World opened in the park in March this year.
Over one million guests are expected to have visited the park by the end of the year and Paultons has now had a visit from every single UK postcode sector (the first two letters of the post code), along with visits from many overseas destinations including USA, Australia, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Slovakia and Spain.
In addition there been a large rise in the number of short break packages sold from the Paultons website with local hoteliers attributing the increased business to the Peppa Pig Effect.
