Oddbods leaps into US toy market with Kid Station Toys and Target

The popular Emmy-nominated kids’ series, Oddbods is leaping into the US toy market with the launch of a new product programme with Kids Station.

The partnership will see the hit IP enter Target stores across the country with a range of plush, mini collectables and play-sets as well as a new light-up game, mini vehicles and more.

The collection will hit shelves from October this year as One Animation continues its plans to strengthen the brand’s presence in the US market. The agreement between One Animation and Kids Station Toys was brokered by the studio’s North American licensing agent, Brandgenuity.

It all follows a slew of new TV broadcast, VOD and SVOD partnerships across the US and marks Oddbods’ first consumer products push in the region.

The US retail giant, Target, has confirmed chain-wide listings of the new range from Q4 2018.

Sashim Parmanand, CEO of One Animation, said: “Our recently signed raft of partnerships coupled with Oddbods’ staggering audience figures is testament to the growing popularity of the brand.

“Target has demonstrated its commitment to the brand by exclusively launching the toy range across all stores nationwide and we couldn’t be happier to have them on board.”

Visitors to Licensing Expo in Las Vegas next week will have the chance to get a first look at the new toy range at One Animation’s stand, L226.
