Moose Toys secures global toy partnership with pre-school YouTube channel ChuChu TV

The new partnership marks the first time that an India-originated kids' property has secured a global toy deal.

YouTube content creator ChuChu TV and the Australian toy company Moose Toys have entered into a global toy partnership. 

Moose Toys will be launching ChuChu TV toys across activity and learning, figures, dolls and plush, all based on its cast of now iconic pre-school characters including ChuChu, ChaCha, Chika, Chiku and Mr Harlo.

ChuChu TV is currently one of the world’s most popular kids creators on YouTube and has 10 YouTube channels offering songs, stories, nursery rhymes and pre-school learning modules for kids starring the characters. With over 20 billion views and over 30 million subscribers, ChuChu TV’s channels garner around 20 million views a day and add close to 50,000 subscribers a day.

Th new Moose Toys range will roll out across key markets of United States, India, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand in autumn next year, before rolling out in other territories. 

The partnership was put together by the Indian licensing outfit, Dream Theatre, the global master licensing agents for ChuChu TV. Dream Theatre worked closely with ChuChu TV to get it license ready and manages the licensing programme for the brand across the world. 

This is the first India originated IP to have a global toy deal.

More information about ChuChu TV toys will be revealed at New York Toy Fair in February 2019. 

The ChuChu TV licensing programme will lead with toys and will be followed by apparel, publishing, back to school as lead categories and will be rolling out in markets in fall 2019, in conjunction with the ChuChu TV toys launch with Moose Toys.
