The Middle East’s first LEGO hotel is set to open in Dubai.

The new hotel will form part of the expansion plans for LEGOLAND Dubai, taking effect from 2018.

“As a part of our expansion strategy, we plan to have a LEGO-themed hotel in the future, mostly in 2018," Paul La France, chief projects officer, Dubai Parks and Resorts told Construction Week.

"I can’t divulge any details right now but it will be the first of its kind in the region."

LEGOLAND Dubai, set to open in 2016, will occupy approximately 27 hectares of space and will boast over 40 attractions set across six themed lands.
