LEGO warns new orders may not be delivered in time for Christmas

In a statement that may send LEGO fans rushing to the aisles, the firm has claimed: “We will not be able to deliver all of the orders coming from customers in the remainder of the year."

Due to demand that has exceeded the company's forecasts, LEGO may not be able to deliver new orders in time for Christmas this year.

While the firm can deliver the orders it had already received, LEGO claims it may struggle when it comes to new orders placed later this year.

In a statement destined to send LEGO fans rushing to the aisles, LEGO spokeman Roar Trangbaek said: “We will not be able to deliver all of the orders coming from customers in the remainder of the year.

“It is really extraordinary and it has exceeded both ours and our customers’ forecasts."
