LEGO has revealed its latest big build to get shoppers in the festive mood, as Covent Garden Piazza becomes the new home for a giant LEGO Santa.

Recent years have seen the LEGO team create a 30-meter Christmas Tree, a Giant Advent Calendar and a walk-through Snow Globe.

This year’s festive treat finds Father Christmas the center of attention, featuring in the construct made from over 700,000 LEGO bricks.

Designed and built by the UK’s only LEGO Certified Professional, Duncan Titchmarsh, the build – featuring all nine reindeer and a life sized sleigh – took the Master Builder a total of 32 days to construct.

With Rudolph leadng the charge of reindeers, the work of LEGO art even features an empty seat next to Santa, allowing kids to climb aboard and hand deliver their wish lists this year.
