LEGO unveils first Doctor Who and TARDIS playset

Priced at £49.99 and available this December, the set includes four minifigures including Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor and Peter Capaldi's Twelfth Doctor.

Sci-Fi fans and Whovians take note, the first official LEGO Doctor Who set has been revealed.

 The LEGO Group has unveiled the first construction play-set inspired by the BBC’s popular and long running TV series, which is now set to hit retailers frm December 1st this year.

Created by LEGO fanatic and designer, Andrew Clark and selected by the LEGO team at the LEGO fan invention site, LEGO Ideas, the new set features an opening TARDIS, detachable interior console room, the eponymous Daleks or Weeping Angels, Clara and of course the Time Lord himself.

With four minifigures included, fans can embark on adventures with Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor or Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor as well as an assorted inventory of accessories including the Sonic Screwdriver.

Measuring over five inches high, six inches wide and nine inches deep, the model TARDIS building set contains 623 pieces and carries the price tag of £49.99.
