LEGO has been named the number two best loved super brand in the UK for 2017.
The Danish brick maker is celebrating its third year of progression, having moved up one place from third to second position in the listing.
The listing itself is determined by 2,500 consumers, who are asked to rank each brand for equality, reliability and distinction on behalf of the Centre for Brand Analysis.
LEGO has beaten the likes of John Lewis and Cadbury in its placement at number two, second only to British Airways.
Superbrands council chairman, Stephen Cheliotis, said: “In what can only be described as a significant year of change, the UK public have very much opted for brands that represent continuity, consistency and comfort.”
The listing arrives less than a week after box office records reported the latest LEGO movie, the LEGO Batman Movie to have achieved a whopping $202 million at the global box office.
The new movie is set to continue its international run in new territories yet to open including China, Japan, New Zealand and Australia.
