Universal is in negotiations to make a Lego movie (no, not that Lego movie) based on the Hero Factory brand, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Hero Factory has already been spun into a series of CGI animated kids shows, but its rumoured the Universal movie would be a live-action production.

The writing team behind sci-fi film Predators - Michael Finch and Alex Litvak – are in negotiations to pen the script.

Star Wars actor Mark Hamill lent his voice acting talents to the kids show, voicing Von Nebula (pictured). Could he return for the feature length project?

Universal is also making a movie based on Hasbro’s Stretch Armstrong.
