Australia's only certified LEGO professional, Ryan 'The Brickman' McNaught has organised an exhibition in Sydney's capital city to display works of art recreated in LEGO.

The collection that's worth more than $1 million took McNaught's team thousands of hours to build and includes such works as the Mona Lisa, Le Grande Jette and Michelangelo's David.

McNaught said: "We're using a material that kids think is awesome and ace and really topical and we can teach them about things that they don't necessarily know about," reports ABC.net

"It has a bit of an ulterior motive, in that we call it education by stealth."
