LEGO eliminates collectors' pain of standing on plastic bricks

A pair of slippers will only be given out to customers who fill out a Christmas wish list on LEGO’s French site.

Parents are all too familiar with the discomfort of stepping on a piece of their kid's LEGO, and now the brand has debuted a pair of slippers to combat the pain.

LEGO has teamed up with French advertising agency Brand Station to create the slippers, which boast extra padding to protect feet.

Brand Station is only producing 1,500 pairs of the slippers, reports French blog Piwee, which will be given out to customers who fill out a Christmas wish list on the LEGO France website.

The slippers can fit both right and left feet and feature a squared-off toe, plus they also come in bright red and yellow with the LEGO logo on the top of the slipper.

Plus, each slipper comes with an open back, so wears can quickly slip on the slipper when a LEGO emergency arises.

As part of the holiday promotion, Brand Station also unveiled a video that shows the production of the new slippers, which you can check out here.
