Jumbo extends Peppa deal

Firm renews its licence for the pre-school show for further two years.

The deal will see Jumbo continue to produce puzzles and games for the pre-school property.

Peppa Pig was the top property in Children’s Puzzles and Pre-school games for the full year 2009 (according to NPD) and Jumbo were the third best-selling licensee for Peppa Pig for the year (NPD 2009).

New developments for 2010 include the Peppa Pig Muddy Puddles game and the range of puzzles and games also includes giant floor puzzles, a bumper pack of six puzzles in one, dominoes and giant snakes and ladders.

Gray Richmond, managing director of Jumbo Games, commented: “Peppa Pig is an extremely popular property which has touched the imagination of pre-schoolers and their parents across the UK.

"Through the extension of our Peppa Pig license deal, we look forward to delivering future best-selling products which are both consistent with brand messaging and meet the needs of this audience."
