James May launches Christmas toy fair

TV star to host event with the toys that star in the hit TV series.

The fair will feature a range of activities incorporating the toys from May's TV challenges including a Meccano model building competition, the chance to make your own Airfix model or create your own Plasticine Morph and an opportunity to race against James May himself at Scalextric.

Visitors will also see Hornby's model railway layout, a collection of amazing Lego models. James May will also be available for a Q&A session with visitors.

Many of the experts from the show will also be on hand to discuss the history of each toy, offer technical advice and show some examples of their collections.

Visitors will also see some of the projects featured on James May's Toy Stories including fittings from the Lego House.

James May's Christmas Toy Fair takes place on November 28th 2009 at Camden Centre, London, WC1H 9DB 10.30am - 5.00pm.

Tickets cost £20 per adult (includes a free signed copy of the book) or £30 for a double ticket (includes a free signed copy of the book). Two free children can accompany each paying adult.
