IN PICTURES: The 200,000-piece LEGO "Masterwork"

Remember the giant LEGO Christmas tree made out of 600,000 bricks?

One artist is now creating his own 'LEGO Masterworks' and is seeking funding on Kickstarter to help him build them. 

Mike Doyle is offering model kits and prints to backers.

His first work, a 200,000-piece model titled The Millennial Celebration of the Eternal Choir at K'al Yne, Odan, ceebrates "contact events, spiritual beings and unique worlds".

It took Doyle 600 hours to create and measures five feet high and six feet wide. Check out the images below:
