HTI extends Peppa Pig deal

Firm renews existing licence for its range of licensed role-play toys to 2013.

New products are set to include a medical case, a pull-along vacuum cleaner and a tea party picnic set. The deal covers the UK and was signed with Entertainment One.

Andrew Coplestone, licensing director of HTI said: “Peppa Pig has been one of the most successful children’s programmes over the last few years and it is now a flagship license in our portfolio.

"Signing this new deal has given us the opportunity to revitalise our existing range and to bring some new and innovative products to the market."

Hannah Mungo, Entertainment One’s head of UK licensing added: "We are delighted to be extending our relationship with HTI who have been a Peppa licensee since 2005.

"We look forward to continuing our successful relationship and supporting HTI as they prepare to bring a fantastic new range of Peppa products to market."
