Hexbug signs sponsorship deal with CITV

Robotic toy company Hexbug has revealed details of its new sponsorship deal with CITV.

The TV sponsorship will feature popular lines from the Hexbug collection including the Tagamoto, Aquabot and Nano V2 ranges.

Running for 13 weeks, the sponsorship deal will begin on Monday, March 31st.

The ten second slots, featuring the theme ‘What’s that coming over the hill, it’s a Hexbug,’ will air 40 times a day.

The new deal follows Hexbug’s most successful year of UK sales to date.

Hexbug marketing manager UK and Europe, Heather Corbett, said: “TV sponsorship has always been a pillar of our marketing campaigns for Hexbug, which we have utilised to drive awareness of the brand and increase sell through for our retailers.

“After a successful campaign with CITV in 2011, we are looking forward to seeing what this year’s sponsorship delivers.”
