GP Flair is readying itself what it bills a ‘huge launch’ for the Voltron master toy line as it and retailers enter the pre-sell period for the franchise.
Launched on Netflix in June 2016 and Free to Air on Pop in September last year, the new DreamWorks Animation series, Voltron, follows five teenagers who are thrust into an intergalactic war when the universe is threatened.
Flair is now preparing for the launch of the heavyweight campaign surrounding the launch of the toy line this March 17, with marketing activity across TV, a digital pre-roll and a four week cinema advertising drive during key film releases.
Additional activity with kids press will attract new fans while targeted social media campaigns are aimed at first generation Voltron fans. This will go on to support the high impact instore activity including FSDUs, posters, window features and more.

The Voltron master toy line includes the standalone Action Figures and Legendary Lion Figures that combine to form Voltron – Defender of the Universe.
Voltron role-play items will allow children to become Defenders of the Universe and transform themselves in the hero with the Defender Gear Role Play Sets and Electronic Transforming Swords with sound effects.
