The children’s entertainment firm, GoldieBlox has secured a new partnership with the activity toy firm Make It Real to create a raft of themed DIY creativity kits for the tween market.

The range will launch next summer and is inspired by the popular YouTube series, Hack Along with GoldieBlox. It will feature DIY creativity kits as featured in the series.

“GoldieBlox is thrilled to be partnering with Make It Real, a company that successfully translates trends for girls into engaging DIY projects, on a new collection of creativity kits furthering our social mission of getting girls interested in STEM,” said GoldieBlox founder and CEO, Debbie Sterling.

The new range will be distributed through a network of leading national and international retailers.

“Make It Real is excited to join forces with GoldieBlox, a company that has inspired millions of young women through its exceptional programming. We look forward to taking the experience to the next level with fun and engaging products that encourage creative expression and empower girls,” said Isaac Wolman, CEO of Make It Real.

Hack Along with GoldieBlox is an original series on GoldieBlox’s rapidly-growing YouTube channel. The show invites girls to hack their world through everyday crafts sprinkled with STEM principles.

GoldieBlox is an award-winning children’s media company that first disrupted the ‘pink aisle’ mentality of toy stores across the world by challenging gender stereotypes with the first girl engineer character.

Through its storytelling and STEM principles, GoldieBlox creates toys, books, apps, videos, animation and merchandise to empower girls to build their confidence and shape new futures.
