Having seen the PJ Masks toys at New York Toy Fair earlier this year, I wasn’t quite sure how all the new characters and vehicles would fit in with the TV episodes.

Now, of course, with the Super Moon episodes starting to go out, I can appreciate how coherent this toy-line update is.

There are a number of PJ Masks Super Moon toys, each with a space or moon theme. First off, and I think most exciting for fans of the show, are the new baddies. The Wolfe Kids are three new villains to cause the PJ Masks heroes trouble. This time, though, they have their own transformation it seems. Rip, Howler and Kevin come to life when there’s a full moon.

I got the toys into the hands of a family I work with to see what kind of adventures the girls would dream up. It was a lot of fun, and was clear that these toys were great at sparking children’s imagination.

In addition to this, there are a load of new vehicles, outfits and headquarters for the main PJ Masks heroes. These are as follows and will be available this autumn.

PJ Masks Super Moon Adventures HQ Rocketship

Based on the brand new episodes launching this spring on the hit pre-school series, PJ Masks, the brave PJ Masks heroes are blasting off on an awesome space adventure to the moon. The PJ Masks Super Moon Adventure Rocketship lets kids recreate the adventures and features a special design just like on the show, as well as exciting lights and sounds.

With the push of a button, release the Rocketship’s legs and ramp, and watch Gekko launch out on his space rover. The cockpit can fit up to three PJ Masks figures inside for even more imaginative play. Gekko and his space rover come with the Super Moon Adventure Rocketship in exclusive colours; other PJ Masks figures are sold separately. Fans can extend the space adventure with other new Super Moon products joining the collection, including a Five-Pack of Collectable Figures, individual Figure Sets and Space Rovers vehicles.

PJ Masks Super Moon Adventure Space Rovers

It’s PJ Masks to the Super Moon rescue. With the new PJ Masks Super Moon Adventure Space Rovers, kids can join Catboy, Owlette and Gekko as they head to the moon to save the day. This dynamic vehicle set includes a three-inch figure, a Super Moon themed accessory and a Space Rover vehicle just like the show.

Catboy, Gekko and Owlette come dressed in special Super Moon space suits and can really ride their Space Rovers in to the night to save the day. Collect all three figure and vehicles sets, sold separately.

PJ Masks Lights and Sounds Robot

Meet PJ Robot, the adorable robot friend that helps the PJ Masks on nighttime adventures. The PJ Robot really rolls and beeps along like the show. Press the PJ Robot’s head to switch his expression and activate lights and sounds. Each expression activates a new sound mode. The PJ Robot also features bendable arms so kids can move him into fun poses and play out favourite scenes from the show.

PJ Masks Catboy and Howler/Owlette and Rip/ Gekko and Kevin

The PJ Masks dynamic two-pack features one PJ Masks hero and one Wolfie as possible figures, Both figures are poseable to help promote imaginative play. The figure set comes with: one Gekko figure, one Kevin figure, and one Gekko Power Up Shield.

Collect all three sets for even more hero fun. Full assortment includes: Catboy and Howler, Owlette and Rip, and Gekko and Kevin. Each two-pack is sold separately.

In addition to these upcoming autumn toys, there are some other additions already available in stores, such as the Romeo Lab Playset that includes a novel grab attachment.

PJ Masks Romeo’s Lab Playset

The playset features a light and sound control panel, working crane, laser launcher and rolling lab charger. Romeo can us the control panel to plot his mad-scientist schemes and then blast his laser launcher when the PJ Masks come to stop him.

Look out for the kid-powered crane, Romeo is trying to capture PJ Masks vehicles. The full set includes: one Romeo’s Lab playset, one three-inch Romeo figure, one Romeo’s Robot figure, one lab charger, one laser launcher, one laser, one working crane, one light and sound control panel and three tools.
