CITV celebrates fifth anniversary

New look promos to run across all ITV channels to mark the occasion.

As the only dedicated commercial kid’s channel on Freeview, CITV claims it has the third largest share of impacts across all commercial and non commercial channels.

CITV broadcasts seven days a week from 6am to 6pm across all digital platforms, as well as being on terrestrial ITV1 during weekend mornings.

Key strands include the daily pre-school block ‘Mini CITV’ for the youngest viewers, shows for kids aged four to nine when they get home from school and at the weekends and the arts and crafts strand ‘Get Stuck In’ which also broadcasts at the weekends.

Joining Horrid Henry on CITV in spring/summer will be new episodes of Almost Naked Animals, as well as other series including Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, X-Men, Pokemon, The Cool Stuff Collective, Phineas and Ferb and Spongebob Squarepants.

Pre-school programming for the period includes Handy Manny, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jungle Junction from Disney as well as Babar and the Adventures of Badou, The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That, Bookaboo and Fireman Sam.
