Blizzard Entertainment has revealed a suite of new Overwatch products at this year’s BlizzCon, including a tranche of Nerf blasters via its partnership with Hasbro.

First to the stage at the video game studio’s annual celebration was the Nerf Rival Overwatch McCree Edition, the third blaster in the Nerf Rival Overwatch line-up.

The blaster has been designed in the style of McCree’s signature accessory in Overwatch and propels rounds at up to 90 feet per second, features a reactive hammer and spinning spur on the end of the handle and includes a die-cast replica McCree badge.

The reveal was followed by the Nerf Overwatch Microshots Series One assortment, featuring three miniature, collectable blasters styled after the accessories of Overwatch characters D.Va, Torbjorn and Tracer.

Both blasters will be available in the UK and Ireland from early 2019.

The partnership with Hasbro continues into the action figures market with a range of Overwatch Ultimates - a premium series of six-inch action figures. The Overwatch Ultimates Mercy figure is the first of this line to be revealed and will be available along with other characters in the UK and Ireland from spring next year.

Overwatch now boasts an audience of over 40 million. Activision Blizzard continues to drive a robust merchandising programme with brands like Nerf.
