As The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug lands in cinemas today, two fans have created an impressive LEGO Rivendell out of 200,000 bricks.

The creation, by Alice Finch and David Frank, picked up the People's Choice Award at BrickCon back in October.

The piece features details inspired by The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and lights up.
