The Toy Trust has set a goal of raising £100,000 from the Three Peaks Challenge which will help build, equip and run a new-build orphanage in Malawi - one of the poorest countries in the world.

“We need everyone to sponsor somebody if we are to reach our fundraising goal,” states Toy Trust Chair and organiser Nick Austin.

125 toy industry people from 22 companies have signed up for the challenge.

Austin said: “This is the biggest fundraising event the UK toy industry has ever attempted and providing a safe home for 48 vulnerable orphaned children should be all the motivation anyone needs to support with some cash.

“If you cannot find someone to sponsor online then please send a cheque made payable to the 'Toy Trust Charity' and send to Matt Jones at the BTHA.”
