Following the success of last year’s Toy Trust Big Cake Bake in Easter 2015 and the Big Toy Sale, the Toy Trust is launching the two events once again in a bid to help raise money for charity.

From November 16th till the 20th, the Toy Trust is asking members of the industry to host their own pre-Christmas sale of toys to staff.

A step-by-step user guide is available via the Toy Trust website, plus companies can choose the day and time that best suits them to hold the sale event.

In addition, the Toy Trust is asking those involved with the event to share their experiences using the hashtag #toytrustbigtoysale, plus companies can also follow the Toy Trust at @TheToyTrust.

Industry members can also take part in the Toy Trust Big Christmas Cake Bake, which takes place from December 7th until the 11th.

In a bid to find the industry’s ‘Master Baker’ the Toy Trust will be presenting four awards to candidates, which include:

The Ultimate Corporate Christmas Cake

A branded Christmas cake.

Yule Be Loving This

This can be anything that is chocolate inspired.

All Present and Correct

Christmas cupcakes that take inspiration from what will be on the wish lists this Christmas.

Seasons Eatings

Cookies and biscuits of any flavour – Savoury treats are allowed.

To be eligible for one of the awards, the Toy Trust requires all entrants to submit photos of their cake creations, which can either be sent in through Twitter or to Matt Jones from the BTHA by email here.

Plus, those taking part can also get involved using the hastag #toytrustbigbakeoff.
