Toy Retailer of the Year 2012 shortlist revealed

BTHA lists finalists for indie, specialist, general and online toy retailer awards.

The 2012 Toy Retailer of the Year shortlist has been unveiled.

The British Toy and Hobby Association (BTHA) invited nominations in October from members' toy agents and national account managers, while toy stores were able to nominate themselves.

Shortlisting was led by a selection of members of the BTHA Council, toy agents and national account managers from around the UK, and some representatives from the toy trade magazines. 

The winners of the prestigious Toy Retailer Awards will be announced at the annual Toy Industry Awards at the new Upper West Hall in London's Olympia on January 22nd, 2013. 

The Toy Retailers Association will also present its Toy Supplier Awards 2012 on the same evening.

The BTHA has announced the following Toy Retailer of the Year 2012 finalists:

Online Toy Retailer of the Year

•Shop Direct 

•Smyths Toys

•The Entertainer
