The British Toy and Hobby association has released a new smartphone app to help parents with play ideas.

The BTHA launched the free app at Toy Fair as part of its Make Time to Play campaign.

It contains play ideas for every day of the year and is designed to offer children aged one years-old and up a quick and easy way of making time for children’s play.

Natasha Crookes, director of communications at BTHA, said: “As the official body representing the toy market, the BTHA is really excited to be releasing an innovative app for making parents’ lives easier when it comes to playtime. We hope to inspire parents, especially those who are often looking after more than one child, think up fun and inventive games all year-round.”
