Majen Immink to take on head of operations and sales for Toy Fair role

The BTHA has promoted popular exec Majen Immink to the role of Toy Fair head of operations and sales.

Immink (pictured) will take up the role from May 1st, having spent more than six years with the association as part of the communications team, including overseeing the PR activities for Toy Fair.

She replaces Simon Pilling, who confirmed earlier this month he is to step down on April 30th.

"I am delighted to be appointed in this new role and to inherit an event that so successfullt showcases the industry's vast talent and innovation," said Immink. "I look forward to working with the team to build on our strong exhibitor relationships and to maintain the high levels of customer service that are synonymous with Toy Fair - ensuring the event remains a key feature in the industry's calendar."

Roland Earl, director general of the BTHA, added: "We are absolutely delighted that a talented member of our existing team has been appointed as the new head of Toy Fair sales and operations, Majen has been key in delivering a fantastic event over the past six years on the public relations and media side of the show, and will move across to utilise her skills in the operations of the fair."

The BTHA will now be looking to recruit a new member of the communications teams in the coming months.
