Inspired by the recent gold Olympic medal winning form of Bradley Wiggins or Sir Chris Hoy?

Well, next year's Toy Trust challenge will see the industry get back on their bikes for a 70-mile Round the Isle of Wight bike ride in aid of the charity.

Taking place on Saturday June 15th 2013, the event is open to all and is not a race - more a chance to take in what was recently cited by Lonely Planet as one of the top ten best bike rides in the world.

"If you or your company are interested in a fantastic team building charity event for the Toy Trust in 2013 to follow on from the amazing Three Peaks Challenge, then this is it," stated Nick Austin, chair of the Toy Trust. "This event will not be as physically challenging as the Three Peaks and will, therefore, be of interest to more people.

"Our goal is to raise over £100,000 via sponsorship - all you need is a bike, a reasonable level of fitness, a sense of adventure and a big heart."

Anyone interested in taking part should register with Matt Jones at the BTHA, by clicking on this link. The event is strictly limited to 120 places and the registration fee will be £75 each. This will include event entry, commemorative polo shirt and evening celebration meal/disco.

A special Toy Trust hotel rate has been negotiated with the four star Lakeside Hotel and Spa at Wootton Bridge on the Isle of Wight.
