More than 60 firms are taking stands in the 2008 Toy Fair’s Greenhouse Area, as it celebrates five years of showcasing smaller firms to the UK industry.

At least 30 of these firms are exhibiting for the first time at the trade show, which is being held at London’s ExCeL from January 30th to February 2nd.

Since its launch in 2004, the area has also promoted entrepreneurship and innovation within the industry.

Natasha Crookes, director of communications at the British Toy & Hobby Association, which organises Toy Fair, said: “We are thrilled to be celebrating the Greenhouse Area’s fifth birthday next year and to announce that the Greenhouse Area has grown once again. The area has been so popular since day one that we are often oversubscribed and forced to open a waiting list. We are hoping that the increased floor space we’ve devoted to the Greenhouse Area this year will help to accommodate everyone who wants to be in there.”
