Bananagrams named North American distributor for Linkee

"Linkee reimagines and redefines trivia play, much like we tried to do with word gaming by bringing more people into each game and keeping everyone involved while they play," says Rena Nathanson, CEO, Bananagrams.

Bananagrams Inc has announced it will lead North American distribution for the UK-born Linkee, the crowd-sourced table top trivia game.

The game makes players answer four questions and spot the link between the answers faster than the other teams and if they get it right they win a letter. Collect enough letters to spell Linkee and they win the game.

Over a third of the cards are user-generated, so questions are topical, relevant and fun.

“We are so excited to partner with Linkee Ltd and couldn’t have dreamed of a more appropriate game than Linkee to mark our first foray into distribution,” said Rena Nathanson, CEO, Bananagrams, Inc.

“We love Linkee because it reimagines and redefines trivia play, much like we tried to do with word gaming by bringing more people into each game and keeping everyone involved while they play. And as we approach the 10th Bananaversary of Bananagrams, the game that started it all for us, we’re continuously evolving and looking for ways to grow our business both internally and with partners that share in our vision.”

Dean Tempest, joint founder of Linkee, added: “When we launched Linkee back in 2012 we always told people that Linkee was the Bananagrams of quiz games, i.e. quick, simple, inclusive, fun and no board.

“Now here we are three years later, and they’re welcoming us into their banana family. It’s like meeting one of your heroes and finding out they like you back. We couldn’t be more honoured and Linkee couldn’t be in better hands.”
