The dates for Toy Fair 2016 are nearing confirmation, the BTHA said this afternoon, although final go ahead from Olympia is still being awaited.

In a statement being sent out to BTHA members and exhibitors, director general Roland Earl stated that to avoid a crossover with the Nuremberg Fair in 2016 the Toy Fair at Olympia is planned to open on Sunday, January 24th and close on Tuesday, January 26th.

Extra opening hours are planned on the first two days and build time is being arranged to allow for a comfortable schedule for contractors to create a great event.

"Once we have contracted dates with the venue we will, of course, look at the logistics we can help with to ease problems for exhibitors, such as moving prototypes from London to Nuremberg for instance.

"More news will be given when the contract is finalised which is anticipated to be within the next week.

"Thank you all for your patience," Earl concluded.
