Heelis is the Central Office for the National Trust; it was named after one of the Trust’s biggest benefactors Mrs William Heelis (Beatrix Potter). There are approximately 500 staff from across the Trust’s directorates, including the Executive team and the Director General, are based here.

What you'll be doing
You’ll play a key role in innovating, strategizing, identifying, and delivering creative, third-party retailer relationships and DTRs. Working with a variety of internal stakeholders and external suppliers you’ll deliver innovative brand licensing and wholesale ranges to third party retailers.
You’ll provide leadership and professional retail development expertise; you’ll identify and develop innovative retail partnerships which add significant value at a commercial and strategic level.
You’ll use your buying expertise to tailor the National Trust product offer for the external third party retailer market.
Who we're looking for
We’re seeking a retail specialist with an in-depth understanding of, and experience in, the workings of the UK High Street and on-line retail channels.
In order to be successful you’ll need to have:
•A proven record of delivering exciting retail ranges, to drive the commercial growth and value of our brand licensing program
•Already have created significant, demonstrable, business development opportunities in retail
•A good knowledge of licensing models, e.g. DTR and vision for the future
•You’ll be professional, credible and personable, able to build and manage third party/external retailer relationships
•Experience of working as part of a team and sharing learning and ideas
