Our client is a UK toy manufacturer, which was recently acquired by a US toy company and because of the additional lines now available there is extensive scope for increased expansion of the business and a new National Sales Manager is to be recruited to drive business growth.
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, the role of UK Sales Manager is to motivate, support, and provide strategies for the UK sales team, in order to achieve the company’s sales and profit targets. Continuous management of the sales forecast and account plans is essential, with regular updates to the S&M Director. The UK Sales Manager is also responsible for assisting each member of the sales team to achieve their personal objectives and goals.
Applicants must have outstanding communication, presentation, leadership, organisation and time management skills and be customer oriented, with strong negotiation ability and be an analytical and data driven problem solver. This role will appeal to a self motivated sales professional with a minimum of five years senior national accounts experience and the knowledge and experience of managing a high performance sales team, who can demonstrate applicable experience of using sales tools to measure against budgets, management of account promotional budgets and the ability to recommend corrective actions, and provide solutions.
The Sales Manager will report to the Sales & Marketing Director and reporting to this position are 1 National Account Manager and 1 Sales Administrator and will work mainly in the office in Buckinghamshire when not visiting customers.
