Our client is a long established toy manufacturer, publicly listed in Hong Kong and managed globally from Los Angeles. The company sells a range of exciting toys including licensed vehicles and numerous own well known IP ranges and is rapidly expanding outside North America with offices in UK, Spain, France, Australia, Hong Kong and Mexico.
An eager go-getter National Account Manager is to be recruited for its UK operation to build and develop the company’s sales across a key portfolio of accounts. The role will involve building and managing retailer relationships, fomulating sales and business plans, forecasting, inventory management, attending global sales meetings, professional presentations of products and internal reporting accountability. The role reports to the Commercial Director UK and Ireland and there are no reports to it.
Suitable candidates will have at least 5 years’ experience of successfully working in a UK toy account management role dealing with large customers with a hands-on approach. The NAM has to be able to work with all traditional toy channels whilst at the same time identifying and exploiting unusual and emerging channels of potential opportunity. The role will appeal to a strategic thinker with creative ideas for developing the business, hardworking and self-motivated who can work with little supervision.
The NAM will work from the new UK office headquarters in the home counties, however, some flexibility working from home when necessary is acceptable. Remuneration will be competitive to attract good candidates.
