Our client is a very long established, family owned German manufacturer of plush toys which has a high brand awareness and an outstanding reputation for high quality. The business is growing well and a key account manager is to be recruited to replace the departing KAM. There is a small team in the UK who work primarily from their home offices. The company has a family ethos and a very low staff turnover, because people enjoy working for the company. It reflects traditional German values of reliability, promptness, doing things correctly and to a high standard.\r\n\r\nThe key account manager will actively contribute to the development of the business strategy of the company, manage assigned retail channels including planning, budgeting and promotional execution, develop and agree tailored packages that maximise the potential for sales and margin growth across all retail trade categories and identify potential new customers through clear understanding of the market and align suitable business propositions to emerging customer needs.
