Our client is a fast growing and well respected multinational leader in the licensed products industry of toys and consumer electronics. The company's products feature some of the best entertainment properties in the world, and the toy categories include figures, plush, role play, vehicles and pre-school toys. Since 2014 it has a German affiliated company which sells actively into Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Benelux, Italy and France. To drive the ambitious plans for growth a Sales Manager is to be recruited with responsibility for Benelux and also some accounts in France.\r\nThe Sales Manager will devise a sales strategy and plan for Benelux, manage and develop business with existing key accounts and also open new accounts. He\/ she will be responsible for reaching budgeted profit margins, updating sales forecasts and assisting with planning and manning of trade fairs in Nuremberg and Hong Kong. The role requires extensive toy industry knowledge in Benelux, excellent strategic sales skills, successful negotiation skills and high level communication skills.\r\nSuitable candidates will have several years successful experience selling to key accounts in Benelux and ideally France, be financially experienced and astute, with experience of setting and managing terms and conditions to achieve profit goals, proficient in researching and analysing market opportunities and have an understanding of modern marketing methods at POS and Omnichannel. Fluency in Flemish\/ Dutch, French and English is a must.\r\n\r\nThe role will appeal to a person who is able to work in a fast paced environment, organized and flexible, energetic and self-motivated who is able to work well on their own without close supervision.\r\n\r\nThe position reports to the General Manager based in Germany and there are no reports to this position. The Sales Manager Benelux will work from a home office.
