Multinational Toy Manufacturer
Our client is a long established privately owned Dutch based multinational toy manufacturer which has grown to a leading position in its field organically as well as through international acquisitions. In Germany the fusion of two offices gives the company a strong position to continue their successful penetration of the market. A Business Development Manager/ KAM Online is being recruited to help the German business to realise its ambitious growth plans.
The Business Development Manager/ KAM Online will have budget and profit responsibility for online customers, including planning of sales out to consumers, ranging and optimisation of exploitation of sales potential as well as for the development and implementation of a strategic plan for opening up new customers and channels of distribution.
The role requires good industry knowledge, excellent strategic sales skills, high level communication skills, successful negotiation skills, a hands-on mentality and good spoken and written English.
Suitable candidates will have several years of experience as a Key Account Manager in the German toy or stationery industry with prime focus on online and new business development and have an idependent working style with high ability as a team player.
The position reports to the Sales Director and there are no reports to this position. The office is near Frankfurt and the Business Development Manager/ KAM Online would be expected to be there at least two days a week. Remuneration will be determined by the market, to ensure a highly competent sales person is recruited.
